MY THAILAND TRIP. APOORV JAGGI:VIII/IX

In the summer of 2019, my family and
I took a trip to Thailand. After landing

in Bangkok, it didn’t look like we were

away from India. Wherever we

looked, there were more Indians than
in Kolkata! Thailand is a very tourist

centric country. Therefore, the Public

Transport System is very organized.
There is an extensive metro rail

network, many ‘tuk-tuks’ and green

and pink taxis. All the shops and

streets of Bangkok are neat and
stylish. The whole city livens up in the

evening with lights all around. Even

the rickshaws are brightly lit with

blaring music.
We hopped and shopped around

Bangkok for two days, soaking in all

the myriad beauties of the city. We
also took a boat ride and visited the

floating market and went around the

King’s palace and the Buddhist
temple, ‘Wat Arun’. It was magical!
