The Magic of Life
-Debadrita Mandal, CLASS IX/X
Thinking of the past makes me
remember those days when we waited
in excitement for the Tooth Fairy after
we had lost a tooth or two. We would
wait, counting the days to the magical
night of Christmas even when we had
no idea regarding how Santa fulfilled
our wishes. The Magic that we once
believed in, is true. The answers to the
mystery and magic which have been
alluded to for centuries are hidden in
one word GRATITUDE.-’God said, " If
you are grateful, will give you more.” It
doesn’t matter which religion you
follow or whom you ove this statement
l
points towards the universal belief.
The power of gratitude was preached and practiced by all the saints
and leaders who wished well for humankind. Gratitude, magically gives
our lives joy and meaning. As we slowly start feeling grateful, we
understand why certain events were necessary in our lives and that
there is always a reason behind what happens to us. It is said that
being grateful and following the path of gratitude will help us wake up
each morning, excited to be alive. Every day will be magical. The most
important and the first step towards gratitude is saying ‘Thank You’.
If we are grateful for what we have, who we are, we should join our
hands and thank the Almighty for every good thing that happens to us
every day. Every mistake or failure is a blessing in disguise. There are
problems when we blame others for our failures. We carry the pain in
ourselves.
