unafraid. That alone is worth coming to Arabia for. He is now where
there is no sickness and no pain. We miss him here and we ask our
selves why we have had to part so often with new converts when we
long to see a church built up to the glory of God. But the Lord again
tells us, “My thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your
ways.” Already we have seen that two steady inquirers of the past
year have been encouraged by the experiences we have passd through
to begin to make public confession. It has also served to bring ui
nearer to each other and in that way is proving that we are becoming
one in spirit. Also, it surprised even us to see how many witnessed to
Naeema’s good qualities and still more so it surprised us to see in how

far the family and neighbors were willing to consult us about his burial
That Naeema ever carried with him the thought of death was shown
when one of the servants told us how Naeema had come before going
to Kuwait to ask pardon for any wrong he might have done or any
unkind word he might have spoken, “because I might not live to return
and I want to be at peace with all.”
He died on Saturday but contrary to Moslem custom he was not
buried until Sunday morning and while this was in progress we were
holding our usual services which were a memorial service for him. ]|
was a service full of comfort and deep joy which outweighed all sadneu,
and all that were present seemed much impressed.
Mohammed Hassen, Mudaarra, Naeema, these are the fruits of your
prayers and of ours—of your faith and of ours. And there are more
such waiting for some one to bring them to the light. May we not
                               fail them.
