10. Customs
Customs Revenue amounted to Hs .9,63,420/- as compared

on an ad valorem basis, revenue benefitted from the

i 11. Boat-building and Shipping
(i) Three motor launches were built in Bahrain during
the year. The number of motor launches plying for hire cn
31st December 1942 was 98.

(i) Victoria Memorial Hospital
Assistant Surgeon M.L.A. Steele, I.M.D., held charge
throughout the year.
