ETERNAL SECURITY.
The state of security of the Bandar Abbas district was
fairly good throughout the year. Only one robbery worthy of
mention took place towards the end of January when a truck
carrying cash was robbed of a box containing Rials 10,000,000,

ROADS,
No new roads were constructed during the year. The B
Bandar Abbas - Kerman road has deteriorated and as a result
requires extensive and costly repairs. Other roads exist to
Kinab and Lar, but these are barely practicable for motor
traffic. Elsewhere animal transport alone is possible.
VII SHIPPING
Steamers with an aggregate of 170757 tons gross entered
and cleared the port of Bandar Abbas during 1945. This tonnage
does not include A.I.O.C. tugs.
