The geophysical survey of the water covered portions of
the Additional Area by the ruflootlon seismograph Method started
In 1949 was contlnuud Into 1960, and was completed by April.
The Interpretation of tha data collected la still occupying
the full time attention of the Company1s geophysicist.

Crude runs to the Refinery for the year 1960 totalled

The aviation gasoline above was Imported from Abadan and the
United .States. Tiio Item "Miscellaneous11 Includes products
such as butane, asphalt paint, pipe prli&ui*. knroaone extract,
etc. Crude running was approximately 1,8> higher than in 1949.
(g) Refinery Construction.

Major new operating facilities completed end placed In
commission during the year included Research and Development Depart­
ment Barrel Storage building, Addition of o sixth 2oo-Korb Treater
at the tfater Treating Plant, concrete atorngo and loading plat­
form at the Aaphalt Plaat, and new high lift pump and pump house.

New 18" and 20" sealines to No.9 Marf
Uarlna railway wee completed
Air conditioning installed on tugs "Karsakhan" end

Four new OU "quads", one QU "twin" and three no* pumps
were Installed at the old pump house.
