PERSONALIA


                 The Arabian Mission has again sustained a touching loss through
             the death at Kodaikanal, South India, on May 22, of Mrs. Harold
             Storm. The friends of the Mission will remember in their prayers the
             young  doctor who is so stricken during his first term, and the two little
             children, one only two weeks old when the mother was taken away.

                 Rev. G. 1). Van 1‘curse*m and family have been spending their furlough
             in Somerville, New Jersey. In August they expect to go west and visit
             relatives in Iowa.

                 Miss M. C. Van Pelt arrived home on regular furlough, landing in
             New York on May 17th on the S.S. EUROPA.


                 Mrs. May De P. Thoms arrived in New York July 1st on the SS.
             HOMERIC. She will probably spend most of her furlough in Holland,
             Michigan.

                 Mr. J. Coert Rylaarsdam, recently appointed short term missionary, is
             scheduled to sail on the S.S. LAPLAND on September 5th. lie expects
             to travel from Paris all the way by train to Iraq.


                 Rev. A. G. Edwards and family, members of the United Mission in
             Mesopotamia, are expecting to sail from New York on the S.S. EXO-
             CHORDIA, August 25th, direct to Beirut, returning to the field after
             regular furlough.

                 Dr. and Mrs. L. P. Dame arrived in New York June 16th on the S.S.
             MAJESTIC, making a hurried visit to Dr. Dame’s mother, who is very
             ill in Chicago.

                 Dr. Paul YV. Harrison is planning to remain in America during the
             present church year. He will cooperate with the Student Volunteer Move­
             ment in preparation for their quadrennial convention to be held in January,
             1932, and will also be engaged in deputation work in connection with the
             celebration of the Centenary of the Board of Foreign Missions.
