CAUSE: Acute MI
Associated inferior MI If associated Anterior MI
if asymptomatic:
Temporary pacing followed by permanent
• No R x , close monitor pacing .(Because : chance of complete heart
block)
If symptomatic:
If patient presents with asystole,give
Inj. Atropin 0.6 mg 1 vial IV stat @
i. v. Atropine (3 mg) or
If fail uses temporary pacemaker
i.v. isoprenaline
The condition resolve with in 7 to 10 days
Prognosis: oisoprenaline(2 mg in 500 ml 5% dextrose, infused
Complete heart block at 10-60 ml/hour)may help to maintain the
circulation until a temporary pacing electrode can be
Stokes Adams syndrome inserted.
