BAX Fall Evening Get Together BAX MEMBERS REQUIREMENTS
Bourbon St, Bayside -Sept 25, 2021
ATTENDANCE: BAX has a clearly defined attendance policy. We require
attendance at every weekly zoom meeting. If you cannot be present, we ask that
you have a substitute to speak on your behalf. A substitute can be a business
associate, someone from your office, or even a neighbor or family member. We
feel it is important that your business has a presence at each meeting. We
suggest that you miss no more than 3 meetings in a six month period. If you
have a substitute, that will not be considered an absence.
REFERRALS: “That is why we are here”. We suggest that you try to give at
least ONE qualified referral each month. As a member of BAX you will contact
referrals given within as reasonable a time as practical. I will provide products
and services to referrals at the standard of care my profession or business
requires. You will treat all members and referrals truthfully and in a courteous
manner with the utmost of respect.
MEET UPS: This is where we have either phone, zoom, or in person meetings
with another member of our group. These meetings are important because this
is where we learn more about each other’s businesses; therefore enabling each
party to build the trust necessary for giving referrals and establishing long term
relationships. We strongly suggest that you engage in as many meet-ups as you
can each month.
ZOOM CONDUCT: We expect all members to be fully engaged during our zoom
meetings. That means not turning off your video for periods of time or looking at
your phone and not paying attention. We are all professionals and expect a
positive attitude and full participation.
ATTIRE: Business Casual. Prepare and get ready before each zoom meeting
as if we were going to meet each other in person.
VISITORS: We suggest all members try to invite visitors each week, if possible.
If a visitor seems interested in joining, they should be invited to attend a 2nd
meeting.
FOR THE VISITOR:
After the second meeting Visitors should submit an application if they are
interested in joining. Please allow us two workweeks to get back to you. The 3rd
meeting that they will attend will be when they are accepted as a member. We,
of course, will do our best this application process even shorter than 2 weeks
when possible.
