Mass migration due to civil wars, economics, and persecution has mobilized people
more than ever to transit to other countries while circumventing established
immigration laws and procedures. The notion of mass migration is not a new concept,
but the intensity of the current political discourse surrounding the topic is
considerably strong. In the United States there has been a strong movement to
