BLUEPRINT FOR SUCCESS
1. EXPECTED ENGAGEMENT OF LEADERSHIP:
Integrate governance efficiency measures into the Grand Office, Executive Committee and Council of Past Grand Sire Archons so that each arm of the Boulé will be able to offer an increased level of engagement in terms of time commitment, level of attentiveness, and constructive scrutiny of operations.
2. STRATEGIC AND LONG TERM PLANNING:
Active Executive Committee participation in the development, implementation and periodic mod- ification of a comprehensive system-wide strategic plan must rank as a key fiduciary responsibility with the leadership of the Boulé.
3. THE IMPACT OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE COMPOSITION:
Attract candidates to the Grand Executive Committee with the competencies nec- essary to address emerging operational needs (e.g., operational management, gov- ernance, information technology, and financial infrastructure). Fitness to serve should be paramount to nomination or appointment and identifying qualified members for key committees must receive
priority consideration as a first look to discovering future Ex- ecutive Committee members.
4. RISK MANAGEMENT:
Ensure policies and proce- dures are followed and risks are promptly communicated for greater effectiveness and efficiency in the overall opera- tions of the Boulé.
“The Blueprint for Success will guide decision making over the biennium. We intend to harness the collective wisdom of our members having identified areas in which change if implemented will fit the Grand Boulè for the 21st Century. ”
~Dwayne M. Murray, Grand Sire Archon

5. GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE:
Study Executive Committee size, composition, committee structure, and reporting relationships. Efforts to simplify governance obligations must be balanced against increased expectations of Executive Com- mittee engagement.
