  Stimulation Training
  To  improve  continually  in  your  strength  training,  you
  have to stimulate your body. Our bodies react to physical
  strain with an adaptation process. If you train harder than
  in  the  previous  session,  your  body  will  reach  a  higher
  level after a period of regeneration. This process is called
  supercompensation. The intensity and method are extremely
  important  for  the  adaptation  process  and  performance
  improvement. Allowing for appropriate regeneration and a
