Insights
Satisfaction with the overall quality of basic education has decreased slightly from the previous year, from 91.8% to 89.6%.
There is a discrepancy between the number of students who feel engaged (73.3%) and the teachers who feel their lessons are engaging (95.9%).
The percentage of students in 2021 who completed high school has decreased. The overall high school population increased dramatically. Schools are still feeling the effects of the learning delay caused by the pandemic.
Results of literacy screens indicate a need to provide specifific interventions to students who struggle with early literacy skills such as phonemic awareness and phonetics.
Teaching and Learning Strategies
Prairie Land will:
