RIVERSIDE COUNTY BLACK CHAMBER OF COMMMERCE 2018 ANNUAL REPORT
RCBCC INTERNS
The Riverside County Black Chamber of Commerce is honored to work with interns from the
areas colleges and universities. These include UCR, Cals State San Bernardino, Cal Baptist. La
Sierra and RCC.
The Chamber provides Interns with real world experience in business and community non-
profits. The young people provide us with youthful exuberance, energy and a can do attitude for
every project. They help us challenge the preconceived notion of every project and repeatedly
ask the question “Why do we do it that way?” This helps us keep our approach to business and
community service fresh and effective.
As CEO of the Riverside County Black Chamber, I am proud to report that through our
community outreach programs, we have created five full time positions, 10 part-time positions,
and we contract with more than 15 independent subcontractors.
Together we have a mutually beneficial working relationship that helps the students and the
chamber. Each intern also gets paid minimum wage.
