Dear Lord,

these old bones sure ache and crack,

there are pains in my knees, and in my back.

I won’t complain or feel sad and blue,

cause I couldn’t have survived, if it had not been for you.

I thank you for lo’ all these many years,

You’ve been there for me, through my hard times and tears,

And you’ve comforted and kept me through all my fears,

When I think of all the blessings you have given to me,

I get so filled with joy, that I could hardly see,

Thank you, Lord

for looking beyond my faults and seeing my needs.
