It Matters How You Say It: Tone and Prosody
Our voice conveys more than we're often aware of. It can be a "tell" that points to a shift or a holding back. It can also convey presence, confidence, a full commitment to our message and engagement with audience. Prosody is the musicality of our voice; the pattern of stress and intonation we use in our speech to enhance our message. It's the rhythm and sound used in poetry. Prosody adds meaning to our words.
