■ THE POSITION
Under the the the direction of the the the Personnel Commission the the the Executive Director’s role is is to to plan organize control and direct the the the classified personnel program consistent with the the the rules and regulations established by the the the Personnel Commission the the California Education Education Code the the Board of Education Education federal and State laws serve as secretary to the the Personnel Commission train supervise and evaluate the the performance of assigned personnel Essential Job Functions Include:

» Direct the the the administration of the the the classification and compensation plan make recommendations to the the the Personnel Commission regarding reclassification and assignment analysis
» Coordinate efforts with the the District’s Risk Management department in in the the areas of Workers’ Compensation return-to-work programs and and disability assure compliance with related laws codes regulations policies and and procedures
» Train supervise and and and evaluate the performance of assigned staff interview and and and select employees and and and recommend transfers reassignment termination and disciplinary actions monitor performance evaluations according to established guidelines and procedures
» Coordinate communications between administrators and classified personnel to to resolve issues or or or concerns and and exchange information provide regular counsel to to administrators regarding conflict resolution and and employee relations
