This is is is an an exceptional opportunity to manage a a a a a a a a a broad variety of administrative functions within an an innovative special district that is is is experiencing an an exciting time of growth!
Reporting to the the General Manager Manager the the Business Services Manager/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) manages the Business Services Workgroup including the development and and implementation of workgroup and and team goals objectives and and priorities for each service area and and manages the District- wide administrative functions of finance budgeting accounting internal audit investments and financial analyses centralized purchasing central central stores and and and inventory control safety and and and risk management training and and and organizational performance Although the Human Resources Manager position resides within this workgroup the HR Manager works directly with with the the General Manager to strategically manage the the District’s Human Resources Program The workgroup has 17 full time positions As a a key member of the the District’s Executive Team the the CFO works directly with the General Manager Board of Directors and Executive Team to to develop implement and manage District financing plans set forth by policy ordinance and Board approval This position manages all accounting and finance functions including but not limited to financial reporting short- and long-range economic forecasts and analyses budgets management of unfunded liabilities revenue cash flow audits investment management contracts long-term debt issuance and rate setting 23
