Rodge
Rodge ate so much fattening stodge
That he grew a huge podge
And couldn’t get through the door of his lodge
Or onto the front seat of his Dodge
So he took a job as a farm hodge
Hoping for his fat to dislodge
Story 212
Outside of Prague
Away from the smog of Prague, there lives a young man with his dog in a hut of
cedar log.
To support himself he raises hogs and makes wooden shoes called clogs.
Early every morning he puts on his togs And jogs through the smoggy, soggy
bog. Afterward he’ll drink eggnog or a bottle of grog and serve his lucky dog
scrump •tious legs of unlucky frog.
