Usage Notes

Although these games are in PDF format, they are not programmed to work with the built-in Adobe Read-Out-
Loud feature. The free Natural Reader should be used instead. To download Natural Reader, kindly go to

www.naturalreaders.com. After downloading it, you should put the miniboard on your computer screen.

To select any word, left click twice on it; to select a row, depress your mouse and drag it either left or right;

and to select a column, hold down the “Alt” key while moving your mouse up or down the column.

Color Codes
Front of Cards The consonant and consonantal are in gray. The roots (families or stems) vary in color according to the
classification. There are twenty classifications in all, starting with the short a, then the long a, etc.
