Story 68: Farming
If you have a strong arm,
A gun to protect yourself from harm,
And if work causes you no alarm,
Then life on a farm is but a charm!
Story 69: A True Yarn
The Scots call a mountain lake a tairn.
They call a stone landmark a cairn.
Although peculiar, the Scots call both an
animal house and a youngster a bairn. Be
that as it may, the sheep in their barn
provide the best darn yarn that any
tailor should ever hope to darn.
