Forgiveness – now 17, Julia returns to the abandoned trailer.
Now able to better understand that her assailant is a victim
of his own issues, she finds compassion. A daffodil appears in
her hand. She kisses it, lays it on a pile of rubble, and the trailer
fades away. A field of flowers, now in its place.
