13WELCOME FROM THE KAC DIRECTORKAC Conference and Exposition Attendees,Welcome to the 49th Annual Kansas Association of Counties Conference and Exposition! It is great to be here once again in beautiful Downtown Wichita and host county, Sedgwick County. Another year has passed since our time together last year and it has been filled with many changes at the county level and within our own KAC organization. I am excited to share with you some thoughts and reflections during my remarks Wednesday morning as part of the 2024 KAC Annual Business Meeting. I hope that you enjoy the conference and attend sessions that help improve your role in county government. I also hope that you meet a new friend or two as you network with peers from across the state.
