This position is responsible for the coordination and enforcement of resolutions, policies, rules, and regulations adopted by the board. The County Administrator will oversee all County departments with an appointed department head as well as the functions of human resources, purchasing, and other functions deemed necessary by the Board and will assist in establishing, monitoring, evaluating, and revising Department and County goals and objectives. Work is performed with a large degree of independence and is subject to review by the BOCC.This position is full-time, offers a great benefits package, and has a salary that can be negotiable based on qualifications and experience.Main Responsibilities:%u2022 Policy & Budgeting: Propose policies, programs, budgets, and strategic plans for Board approval.%u2022 Financial Oversight: Prepare revenue and expenditure projections for planning.%u2022 Administrative Supervision: Oversee department operations and personnel%u2022 Coordination: Facilitate cooperation across departments and with elected officials to improve efficiency.%u2022 Personnel Management: Enforce personnel policies, approve staffing decisions, and evaluate performance.%u2022 Purchasing & Contracts: Oversee purchasing procedures and execute contracts approved by the Board.%u2022 Meeting & Reporting: Prepare Board meeting agendas, reports, and plans for future county needsQualifications:%u2022 A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience in either area%u2022 At least 5 years of experience with Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or managing a public sector.%u2022 Significant experience in public sector management, ideally at the county level.%u2022 Strong financial expertise with a solid understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.%u2022 Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on motivating teamwork
