             One of the most important aspects to becoming
             a  successful  entrepreneur  is  Networking.
             Networking  is  the  process  of  building  and
             maintaining  relationships.  It’s  the  development
             of a team that will support your efforts and the
             efforts  of  your  network  teammates  to  reach
             your  respective  goals.  Networking  is  about
             forging bonds and sharing.

             Networking Do’s:                                  Great    networking     isn’t   about    out-
              1. Believe networking will work                   maneuvering  your  competition.  The  best
              2. Target the right audience                     networkers  think  in  terms  of  collaboration,
              3. Make a strong first impression                not  competition,  even  with  their  fiercest
              4. Network with those you emulate                competitors.  How  might  two  or  three  of  you
              5. Talk to everyone you meet                     band  together  to  provide  products  or
              6. Learn to read people                          services  to  more  high-end,  high-paying
              7. Listen                                        customers?  How  can  you  enlist  the  help  of
              8. Be willing to help                            people around the globe in your R&D efforts?
              9. Be prepared
             10.   Find common denominators
             11.   Bring value                                 Connecting by its very nature is collaborative.
             12.   Be honest, courteous, and fair              Instead  of  collecting  business  cards  and
             13.   Follow up                                   sending  out  brochures,  seek  out  people  with
             14.   Keep referrals informed                     whom you might collaborate and build strong
             15.   Look at the big picture                     connections. You might meet someone with a
                                                               brilliant idea who’s looking for a partner with
                                                               your expertise.

              1. Don’t act desperate
              2. Don’t sell                                    Or,  you  might  form  a  mastermind  group  to
              3. Don’t monopolize                              brainstorm  innovative  ways  to  improve  your
              4. Don’t ask too soon                            business    while    holding    each    other
              5. Don’t solicit companies                       accountable  for  implementing  these  new
              6. Don’t show off or brag                        ideas.  Best  of  all,  you’ll  create  new
              7. Don’t interrupt                               friendships that enrich your life.

              9. Don’t play it by ear
