Additional Benefits (Life Insurance, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, EAP)

Principal Basic Life / AD&D:
100% Employer paid for ALL employees
$10,000 Benefit Amount for Life
$10,000 Benefit Amount for AD&D

Principal Voluntary Life / AD&D:
Employee:
- Increments of $10,000 to $500,000
- Guarantee Issue (under age 70): $50,000
- Guarantee Issue (over age 70): $10,000

Spouse:
- Increments of $5,000 to $100,000
- Guarantee Issue (under age 70): $25,000
- Guarantee Issue (over age 70): $10,000

Children:
- Increments of $2,000, $4,000, $5,000, or $10,000
- Eligible children under 14 days of age receive $1,000

*Spouse/Child life benefit cannot exceed 100% of your benefit amount.

Principal LTD - Long Term Disability
- 100% Employer paid for full time employees
- LTD pays 60% of your pre-disability monthly earnings up to 11,000
- Benefits begin 90 days after disability

Principal STD - Short Term Disability
- 100% Employer paid for full time employees
- STD pays 60% of your pre-disability weekly earnings up to a weekly max of $2,400
- Benefits begin 8th day of the accident / illness up to 12 weeks
