In my book Parents, it’s time to R.E.S.E.T., I
said the word JOB stands for people who Jump Out
of the Bed to go on a Journey Of Boredom to work
a job to be Just Over Broke.
Did you know that most employers pay their
employees just enough, so they won’t quit? Did you
know that most employees work just enough so they
won’t get fired? In the meantime, both parties are
settling.
God never meant for anyone to settle in anything
in their life. There is something inside you that must
come out of you to serve the world, and it is called
your gift.
The Bible says in Proverbs 18:16, “Your gift will
make room for you and bring you before great
men.” Les Brown said, “We weren’t meant to work
for a living but to live our making and living our
making will make our living.”
The number one reason I wrote my first book
“Parents, it’s time to R.E.S.E.T.” is because I heard
Steve Harvey telling a story about his friend who
