would say, "This is my last year working at this place."
They would respond by saying, "You said that last
year!" I would ignore them because I knew God was
working on me to become GREAT!
In the first book, I mentioned a bet I had made
with a coworker named Danny Stillwell. The wager
entailed that I would still be working for Solvay after
he had retired. Although I lost that bet, it wasn't
because he retired before I left the job. I did not win
because he died two years before his retirement. He
did not have an opportunity to enjoy his retirement.
Why am I telling you this story? Well, I have
three questions for you:
1. Have you ever felt caught between a dream
and a job?
2. Have you ever felt that you have more to offer
to the world?
3. Have you ever felt that life is more than going
to work and paying bills?
You see, for the last 12 years, I have learned so
much through reading books, listening to audios,
and seeking out mentors to help me transition from
