I will start featuring local restaurants and other hot spots in each of my newsletters. This month’s
featured local business is The Decantery. Newly opened in the Fall of 2017 it already is one of the
Island’s favorite spots.
It is not your typical wine bar and is located next door to the legendary Palace Saloon in the heart of
The Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach. The space itself is very cool,they have kept the brick walls
and the original ornate ceilings but have added a lot of modern elements to give the space a
distinguished and eclectic look; and it works.
Their extensive wine selectoion will take you on a spin around the world. In addition to wines they also
offer a great selection of craft beers and specialty cocktails as well as small plates and desserts by local
pastry chefs.
