The compositional arrangement firstly explores
the contrast between inner and outer space of the
mirror with the surrounding room.
The viewer is dependent on making a spatial
judgement on what is reflected in the mirror.
Equally explored is the sense of suspended
animation in the doll, through the dolls posture.
The cut flowers add to the sense of animation,
albeit cut from their roots.
