The narrative in the painting relates to the rhythms of the sea and sense

has receded before racing in again when it leaves jewel- like shells
glinting in the sunlight.
In the distance, Gulls flock and dive - alluding to the wildness of nature.
The breeze blows against her dress and she is totally caught up within
her embrace of the elements.
