Love and War.
This exhibition considers the role of Sarah first Duchess of Marlborough as Chatelaine.
The collection portrays in paintings principle aspects of Blenheim, especially the relationship between John and Sarah, expressed through
Sarah’s show of love and respect for her husband in the celebration of his achievements at Blenheim.
From obscurity to greatness, both John and Sarah, made their mark in not only English but also European history, it was Sarah as chatelaine
that would with her persistence make this known.
