TOP THINGS WE'LL MISS ABOUT LIFE AT 10 JAMES LANE, WESTPORT
1. Christie’s country store: Ice Cream Stand in summer; basic grocery and deli available
2. Wakeman park, take a walk with friends , walk dog with other dog parents
3. Family-focused neighbourhood: opposite ice rink family, hear kids laughters laying on the hammock,
many pets in the neighbourhood, playdate with neighbour dogs
4. Early morning (5:30 am) swimming practice, especially in the winter: do not need parents to wake up
and drive, walkable, or bike
5. Orientation (house facing southeast): Adapts to all major Feng Shui consideration, and energy saving
6. All bedrooms: on the same floor, family members very close
7. Big deck: great for entertainments. Son friends came over for meals on patio with music
8. Separated bonus room used for son’s rowing workout, childhood friends family visits, yoga studio
9. Driveway and basketball court: on the first year moving from CA to CT, family of 3 shovel snow on
the long driveway and basketball court together manually (only get snow plows later on). Dogs running
around the snow plow happily
10. Backyard: play balls with dogs under the shower of sun beams
11. Son and husband play basketball or baseball in the driveway
12. Grandparents walk 3 times a day in the neighbourhood, neighbors always dance, wave , smile and
use all body language to communicate with them. Some came to tell me they are so loving and peaceful,
and brought great energy to the neighbourhood.
13. Kids from Nearby towns came to Our neighbour Mellisa and Doug’s home for fancy toys and goody
bags on the Halloween Nights
14. This house had great Feng Shui, we had received so much great news from our mailbox including
that our son won the National Merit Scholarship Award in 2020 - the only one in Westport. We asian
believe our family is very much blessed because of the great Feng Shui Energy: our family members
of three generations and two dogs all love one another and are in great harmony and health. Son
was especially blessed and had lots of achievement: State Championship for breastokes in CT, Youth
National Lightweight Rower when in High School, Captain in Saugatuck Rowing Team, Ranked 6th in the
International Underwater Robotic Competition.
