TOP THINGS WE'LL MISS ABOUT LIFE AT
91 ALGONQUIN ROAD

• Long laps in our enormous pool while the children play basketball in the
shallow end

• Afternoon tea parties under the grapevines

• An evening game of tennis under the lights

• A fireplace for every day of the week!

• Swinging under the big oak trees while the whole extended family plays baseball
in the backyard

• Learning to identify the new chipmunks and bunnies every spring

• Cooking at the large cherry wood island where the children do their homework

• Scattering to the corners of the house when everyone needs a little “me” time

• 4th of July: toddlers jumping on the trampoline, tweens skateboarding and
playing basketball on the tennis court, teenagers around the firepit, and all of
the dads burning their fingers on the fireworks

• This house was made for Christmas: the ceiling height for one – or more –
Christmas trees, a grand staircase cloaked in boughs, an enormous wreath
illuminating the outside of the house, a wealth of mantelpieces for the
stockings

• The entertainment spaces: ping pong in the basement, a game of pool in the
den, cards in the library, movies in the attic

• The housework practically does itself: 2 dishwashers, 2 washing machines, 2
dryers, 2 refrigerators, 2 ovens, large closets and a laundry chute!

• Taking a deep and long bath in the master bathroom

• Enjoying Brooklawn Country Club with our neighbors: playing paddle, walking
our dogs on the golf course, sledding, bowling, eating lobster rolls, and attending
interesting events

• Eating fresh eggs from the backyard chickens up the road

• Gifting fresh honey from our own apiary
