What made you fall in love with 48 Partridge Lane?
When we first found this home, it felt like the perfect fit for our growing family. The spacious layout
gave us room to live comfortably without feeling too spread out—we loved that it still felt cozy and

connected. One of our favorite features is the oversized backyard, which has been a dream for our
dog, Apollo, and for entertaining friends and family. The unique shape of the lot also means less
time shoveling in winter and more time enjoying the outdoors. The neighborhood immediately
drew us in with its vibrant, welcoming energy. It’s full of young families, and there’s a strong sense
of community here. We’ve loved being just minutes from downtown Fairfield, with its great
restaurants, shops, and year-round events. The proximity to the train, highways, parks, and
everyday conveniences made life easy, and we could walk to the local elementary school and nearby

park. We also felt confident putting down roots here because of the top-rated school system and the
overall charm of the neighborhood. It’s picturesque, peaceful, and full of character. Inside the
home, the kitchen quickly became a favorite gathering space, with its stainless steel appliances,
ample storage, and eat-in option. Fairfield itself has been the perfect town for us. From the beaches
and Lake Mohegan to the lively downtown and endless recreational opportunities, there’s always
something to do. This home and community have given us so much, and we know the next family

will love it just as much as we have.

Describe the renovation process.
When we moved in just three years ago, we were thrilled to find that most of the home had already

been beautifully and thoughtfully updated—making it truly move-in ready. That said, we’ve
continued to invest in upgrades that not only enhance comfort but also add real value and efficiency
to the home. One of the biggest improvements we made was installing a solar energy system. It’s
been a game-changer! Not only do we cover our entire electricity usage, but we actually generate
more power than we consume, creating an energy credit each year. We also upgraded the heating
system to a high-efficiency hot water boiler that provides instant hot water and reliable, cost-
effective comfort throughout the seasons. To improve climate control in the bonus room, we

installed a split unit, which has made that space even more enjoyable year-round. On top of those
larger investments, we’ve tackled smaller projects as well, like installing a brand-new high-end
dishwasher to make daily living even more convenient.
All in all, we’ve focused on smart, energy-efficient upgrades that enhance everyday life, and we’re
proud to pass those benefits on to the next homeowners.
