THE HOMEOWNER
Q: What made you fall in love with this home?
A: My husband and I met in college and are both engineers. The architecture, 18 inches of solid
stone, layout and flow all make for a bit whimsical and very unique home. We had four young
children (ages 3 to 8 yrs) when we first saw the house and watching them run through the
massive yard was a beautiful sight.
Q: Please describe the renovation process if there was one...
A: We replaced the slate roof, added the Primary Suite addition, renovated bathrooms, updated
kitchen cabinets and appliances, added custom carpentry, painted, cosmetic updates, refinished
the floors, added the tin ceiling in the family room, and installed an HVAC system.
Q: Why are you moving?
A: Downsizing to Mystic.
Q: Will you miss the neighbors/neighborhood?
A: Absolutely, many of our dearest friends, with bonds of a life from raising our children together.
Q: What makes your property so special?
A: Gracious, large stone tudor with a park-like yard.
