Interview with the Homeowner
Q: What made you fall in love with this property and home?
A:
A : Spending half our year in Florida, we so missed New England. Allan and I wanted the incredible
values found in Easton. Getting the 3 acres and the spacious home was worth the tradeoff. As
grandparents, we wanted room for 3 grandchildren and parents to get out of Manhattan so the kids
could attend camp in the summer. The second master suite and privacy for us was ideal.
For eleven months in 2020 during Covid, our NYC family each had their own room with desk, security,
and the cul-de-sac which is safe for bike riding, scooters, and evening walks.
Q: Tell us about the location.
A: I’m so glad we chose this location because we have good city access while enjoying an
amazing lifestyle. We literally have every convenience a few miles away…a farmers market,
supermarkets, restaurants, the highways so close by, Greiser’s Coffee Shop, Silverman’s and the
numerous farms in Easton. Oh, how I will miss getting everything fresh every week! Whether I go
to Monroe, Easton or Fairfield, everything is minutes away. It is not very far for commuters and is
worth any extra few minutes to come home after a long day and relax in paradise.
Q: What is the neighborhood like?
A: There are ten homes on this cul-de-sac and it is engaging while allowing for privacy. Everyone
has been so friendly. There is an incredible 4th of July party with professional fireworks and
several other neighborhood gatherings. We will definitely miss the unmatched sense of pride of
ownership every homeowner has for their home and property.
Q: Can you share anything about the grounds?
