An Interview with...
THE PROUD HOMEOWNERS OF
54 BLOOMER ROAD
Q: WHAT MADE YOU BUILD ON THIS PARTICULAR PROPERTY?
A: We wanted to remain in the Branchville elementary and East Ridge school systems when
we decided to look for property (we were living less than a mile from here). We loved the
lot because of the flat back yard, the privacy it offered and it's proximity to train and town.
We could also envision a good sized pool and all of the outdoor living areas that would be a
great compliment to the house design and style.
Q: TELL ME ABOUT THE GROUNDS...
A: Having great outdoor space was really important to us. We wanted a nice flat lot to put in
the pool, a greenhouse for my gardening and a section for the kids to play on. The front
approach is also beautiful with the deep frontage and slight sloping hill that enhances your
view when sitting on the front porch. We fully fenced the back yard to keep the wildlife out
and the kids / pets in! There are full sized oaks and other mature trees that provide lots of
privacy so we have our own oasis while being so close to everything.
Q: WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD/ADREA?
A: This is such a quiet street, and because it's right off of Branchville Road, it's so convenient
to get to everywhere. It's 5 minutes to town, close to schools and the train station if you
need to get to Stamford or NYC. We love being close to route 7 as well to get Danbury or
the coastline. It really is a great location!
Q: WHY ARE YOU MOVING?
A: We have lived in Ridgefield for many years. We raised our family here and now that our kids are
grown and on their own, we are definitely ready to downsize.
