1. Breezy summer evenings on the screened porch; watching Fairfield
beach life and visiting with neighbors as they pass by walking their children
to school or walking their dogs.

2. The active lifestyle; climbing on our bikes and riding for miles in any direction,
drinking in the beauty of the town as we descend into Southport Harbor or climb
the rolling hills of Greenfield Hill; walking a block to the beach to take our kayak out
on the Sound from the Penfield kayak rack.

3. Watching the splendor of the sunrise over the Sound from our bed in the master
bedroom or gorgeous sunsets from the screened porch; throwing open the master
bedroom sliding door and being lulled by the sound of waves on the beach when a
storm is approaching on the Sound

4. The full moon rising over the Sound, then working its way over the night sky
across the front of the house; visible from every room

5. Cozy winter nights cuddled up in front of the gas fireplace with a good book

6. A last-minute cocktail or dinner invitation from neighborhood friends...
dining al fresco on the Venetian granite terrace, then moving to the fire pit to
make s’mores.

7. Walking 5 or 6 blocks to dinner, dessert or concerts on the Green in Fairfield
town center.

8. Peeking outside the kitchen window at the garden blooming with abundant
hydrangeas, liriope, peonies and dogwoods throughout the spring and through
the fall.

hydrangeas brought in to enjoy throughout the house.

Bridgeport ferries cross the Sound from the 3rd floor; or having a front-row seat for the fireworks.
