We will miss about 37 Shalimar Lane

1. The location of our home is incredibly convenient. We are walking distance to grocery
stores, CVS Pharmacy, A&S Deli (rated one of the best in CT) as well as many highly
rated restaurants.

2. We live in a great neigborhood on a cul-de-sac. This has provided us with many

opportunities to sit out front and get to know our neighbors and their families.

3. School District – one of the best school districts in CT with wonderful high schools,

middle schools, and elementary schools.

4. Cabinet space and counter space. The addition of a peninsula island to the kitchen
provides additional cabinet space as well as countertop space. It is not uncommon for
us to be entertaining and have multiple chefs in the kitchen at the same time without
competing for prep space.
5. The backyard is spacious and completely fenced in so it a€ords us the opportunity

to play fetch with our dog as well as entertain small or large groups of people on
beautiful sunny days.

6. Multiple areas to set up a home o§ce. A home o§ce is already set up in the Dining

Room but can also be in the downstairs Family Room or even in the Kitchen.

7. Our neighbors are great. We have a good mix of young home owners with pre-teen and
teenage children as well as neighbors who have lived on this culdesac for 50+ years.

8. The downstairs Family Room has been a great haven for us serving as our TV room as

well as a music room for our many stringed instruments. Our piano has found a nice
home in the living room area against an interior wall.

9. The city water pressure is outstanding and taking a shower in our home is always a
great experience.

10. Our driveway has recently been repaved and provides space for two, possible three,
cars. As well, our garage can easily fit a full size sedan or a midsize SUV. There is also
abundant street parking for family and guests who may be visiting.
