AN INTERVIEW WITH THE PROUD HOMEOWNERS

WHAT MADE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH 62 MISTYWOOD LANE?
We loved the Greenfield Hill location as well as the quiet cul-de-sac street. We wanted enough
property for our rescue horses and this location provided plenty of open space. The house on the
other hand needed a great deal of renovations but we could see the potential and knew that we
could create a very special home.

DESCRIBE THE RENOVATION PROCESS.

After years of living in our home we eagerly dove into a complete renovation process that included an
extension of the Living Room, Foyer and Master Suite. Basically every room was touched! New roof,
siding, insulation, windows, interior doors & hardware, kitchen, bathrooms, screened in porch, garage,
mudroom, laundry room and walk out level family room. Outdoor living is important to us as well so we
added a saltwater pool, gazebo/cabana, outdoor kitchen, and so much landscaping and outdoor lighting.
It’s the perfect backyard setting for entertaining or just quiet relaxation.

WHY ARE YOU MOVING?
We are relocating to North Carolina. In a perfect world we would pack up the entire house and take it with

us! We love this home!

WILL YOU MISS THE NEIGHBORS?

We will miss our neighbors very much. We have enjoyed hosting the many pool parties, gatherings at
Maple Row Farm for the annual Christmas Tree Tailgating, 4th of July parties and so much more. Our
Mistywood neighbors are very supportive of each other as well.

WHAT MAKES YOUR PROPERTY SO SPECIAL?
Before the renovation process started we knew we wanted to have a home that would bring the
outside, inside. Having large windows and even the very large sliders to the deck accomplished this.
We will miss the sunny and private backyard a lot. Outdoor grilling at it’s best!

TELL ME ABOUT THE GROUNDS.
Having 2.1 level acres has afforded us the opportunity to create an amazing outdoor environment that
truly lends itself to the Greenfield Hill lifestyle. We have planted an abundance of native perennials as

well as 5 different fruit trees! You just can’t beat harvesting a pear or peach from your very own trees!
It’s also been rewarding to grown our own vegetables.
We have two birdhouses in the backward and have enjoyed watching the various varieties of birds come
and go throughout the year.

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR HORSES AND PADDOCKED AREA.
We have two rescue horses that we adore! Our 2.1 acres has afforded us the ability to paddock a space for
them. It’s been so wonderful to have our horses steps away. The horses will move with us . We will remove the
fence at the buyers request and donate it to the horse rescue group.
