farmers market. Beginning in May ending

9. FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS
The night before the Fourth of July, the
City of Shelton parks and Rec. presents its
annual firework show at Veterans Memorial
Park. Thousands attend this memorable
event. Be sure to get to the park early to
secure a spot and watch the live music
performances before the fireworks!
13. RIVERVIEW PARK
The oldest official park in Shelton, Riverview
sits atop the Housatonic River bluff and
offers a stunning overlook of the Derby-
Shelton dam as well as large playground,
basketball courts, baseball fields, a hiking
trail, the Veteran’s Memorial building, and
several historic statues and markers.

This annual 4K race was creates by “Hope
For The Warriors”, it is a national race series
brining communities together to support
our nation’s service members and families.

Every year, the town of Shelton combines The annual Summer event features more
