15. SHELTON HISTORICAL CENTER
    The Shelton History Center consists of
    the one room Trap Fall School, a carriage
    barn housing a collection of horses drawn
    vehicles, a corncrib and an outhouse, in
    addition to the c. 1822 Brownson House
    and the 19th century Wilson Barn. The
    Shelton Historical society and the Shelton
    History Center host annual programs and
    activities for the people to learn about the
    history of the town.

                                          20. SOUPSTOCK FESTIVAL
                                          SOUPSTOCK is an annual event that
                                          celebrates art, music, food and crafts

                                          event takes place in September! With two
                                          music stages, a Kids’ Zone, artisan craft
                                          shopping, exhibits and most importantly
                                          the SOUPSTOCK Soup and Chili cook-offs.
                                          SOUPSTOCK raises money to support
                                          community programs in the arts through
                                          MAS Turtle Shell fund.
