WHAT MADE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS HOME

The incredible water views! We love water and find it very tranquil. We loved the fact we have deeded beach rights

and also have a private backyard with grass and beautiful landscaping. We lived in NYC when we bought this home

as our weekend retreat and it was everything we wanted - relaxing, close to town, restaurants and shopping - so we
could have our "fun in the sun" during the day and still have some great night time dinner out options!

PLEASE DESCRIBE THE RENOVATION PROCESS

We have owned the home for over 20 years now and have been through several updates and changes. The most
recent was when we lifted the house to comply with FEMA regulations in 2016 - 2017. It was an extensive project and

the house has been updated from top to bottom complete with new roof, new gourmet kitchen, new bathrooms,

new furnace, new windows, new decks and many upgrades/amenities

WHY ARE YOU MOVING?

We moved to Westport while the lift project was done and then decided to stay where we were. We don't need two

houses one town away from each other and would like another family to enjoy it as much as we have over the years.

WILL YOU MISS THE NEIGHBORHOOD?

We will miss the coastal lifestyle for sure! We raised our children in this house so it has a lot of happy memories for

us like teaching the kids to kayak and paddleboard to the reservoir, walking out to the lighthouse during low tide,

going to Southport Harbor by boat to have drinks with friends and then back home for dinner under the stars,
amazing sunsets in the most amazing colors of purple, pink and orange.

TELL ME ABOUT THE GROUNDS ...

We love all the varieties of perennials and plants which add to our special place! Orange Tiger lilies, lavender
butterfly bushes, yellow day lilies, purple iris, orange trumpet vine, lilacs, holly trees and arborvitae just to name a

few. We enjoy the changing color landscape as the season progresses from spring blooms until fall.

WHAT MAKES YOUR PROPERTY SO SPECIAL?
The best of all worlds! Beach rights, grass backyard, mature plants and landscaping, direct water access for boating,

jet-skiing, kayaking and other water sports. We prefer the privacy of our yard versus being on the beach side where

there is more activity by people using the beach.
