Q: What made you fall in love with this home?
A: Aside from the charm, spacious rooms, and amazing backyard, The location is perfect. West
Norwalk is perfectly located with easy access to trains to NYC, centrally located to SONO
downtown for shopping and restaurants, Darien and New Canaan restaurants, shops, etc. as
well as the beach! I also fell in love with the wonderful property and of course.. The pool! The
property is very private while also being part of a wonderful neighborhood. The other plus is
being located so close to a golf course.
Q: Please describe the renovation process.
A: I purchased the home when it was in need of repairs and renovation. I completed extensive
renovations to bring it up to date and add value. There are too many to list but a few of the
big ticket items include: A new pool quartz surface, new pool tiles, new pool equipment,
new windows, waterproofing system in basement, Central Air (hydro air system), new front
walkway, Generator hookup, new concrete floor in garage, fireplace metal vent inside chimney,
brand new expanded kitchen and bar with Quartz countertops and a new patio in backyard.
Q: Why are you moving?
A: As my children are getting older, I feel that the house has a lot of space for just me. The
space easily accommodated friends and family and this has been a tough decision for me,
but I hope that the next owners will enjoy the house as much as we did during our life here!
I will be moving into the next phase of my life with retirement not too far away!
Q: Will you miss your neighbors and neighborhood?
A: I will definitely miss the neighborhood. There are always people out walking, saying hello as
they pass by.
Q: Tell me about the grounds.
A: The property is extremely private while entertaining in the back yard with the pool. I love all
the mature plants and flowers and the flat backyard especially.
Q: What makes your property so special?
A: I think my property is so unique because it is charming and has so much curb appeal that
an older home provides but with the modern updates and the open living spaces it really
blends the two in a perfect way. I love the location and outdoor lifestyle here. I will sorely
miss the pool!
