TOP THINGS WE WILL MISS ABOUT LIFE AT MERWINS ...
§ We love our pool and spa. We moved into the original home in 2005
and the first thing we did was hire a landscape architect to prepare a master
plan for the property.
§ As soon as we were certain where the pool and spa should be built we got
started. We had them completed and ready to swim in Memorial Day weekend of
2006.The Pool and Spa each have their own completely independent systems so the
can be operated independently and we tend to keep the spa open later into the Fall
after the pool season is over. We spend a great deal of time enjoying both pool and spa.
§ Privacy and serenity of Greenfield Hill. Because the area has two acre zoning, all of the
houses are far enough apart to allow for a bit more privacy than many area neighborhoods
have. It is really remarkable that we can be so close to NYC and yet have so much privacy
and the feeling of old New England Charm.
§ The neighborhood is known as Greenfield Hill. Our home is located on the western edge
of Fairfield bordering Westport. Because of this we are only 5 minutes to Stop and Shop and
less than 10 minutes to both downtown Westport shopping and Downtown Fairfield dining.
§ We have a great neighborhood church that we joined just after moving in to our home.
Greenfield Hill Congregational Hill is a wonderful community of folks who care very much
for each other as well as the surrounding communities. There is a state of the art Nursery
School and a wonderful children's program that attracts kid's from all over town. Each
Mother's Day weekend the Church hosts their annual Dogwood Festival and it is visited
by thousands of people who come from all over to sample the local crafts, foods and to
admire the flowering dogwood trees.
§ Our property has a great sledding hill and we love it when the neighborhood kids come
by to join our two children sledding. The parents stop by and we often have a wonderful
time chatting and sharing hot chocolate.
§ Our home was custom designed just for the property and it has everything a high end

home needs. We love our home, it feels like we are at a resort when we are here. We
have the best of everything right at our fingertips, from the
gourmet kitchen to the expansive laundry room
with lots of space for the kids to play and a
master bedroom suite that is second to
none.
