THE HOMEOWNER

Q: What made you choose this home?

A: When I bought the house, it needed a ton of work. I had been living in a very large

antique home that was way too big for me. I was downsizing but didn't see anything in
my budget that I loved. The house was extremely tired but I saw so much opportunity
to create something special. I love to design and renovate and I really enjoyed making
this house a home.

Q: Why are you moving?

A: The boys are grown and are no longer living locally. I am planning to relocate to be
closer to my parents and spend more time with them as they age.

Q: Do you like the location?

A: Very much! The bigger home I moved from was in the Stratfield Area and I did not
want to leave. I raised my boys here and I could not have been happier. I really enjoy
walking on the quiet streets in the evenings or early morning.

Q: Did you enjoy the renovation process or was it difficult?

A: I really loved it...but I have always loved design and planning. I definitely had ups
and downs with timing but I loved the subs and everyone paid attention to detail.
I was not planning to sell and really thought I would probably be here forever do
everything was custom and I didn't buy cheap. It was for me, not a flip so the quality
mattered a lot to me.
