TOP 10 THINGS WE'LL MISS ABOUT LIFE AT 190 HILLCREST ROAD
1. We get to walk everywhere! Enjoying the amenities of the tennis courts,
schools, train, library, town, theatre, restaurants, shopping and beach. It was one
of the main reasons we bought the home!
2. Friendly neighbors, impromptu wine on the wall and pizza nights, fire pits, s’mores,
corn hole and yearly neighborhood block parties!
3. Walking to dinner or the Fairfield Theatre Company with absolutely no worries about
parking or driving!
4. The bonus of being able to walk to the train within three minutes, hop on the train to
nearby CT towns, or even for a day of theatre and dinner in the city.
5. Listening to music, or watching a ball game in the family room, with a fire on a cold
winters day.
6. Since our home is so close to the Birdcraft museum, we not only have so many bird
specifies around we get to see and love the nature of deer, turkeys and various other
animal species, all still by being so close to downtown.
7. So many special memories of our family being able to stroll into town for the
Memorial Day parade and walk home after a night of celebrating Fourth of July
fireworks at the beach. So many special memories about just being able to walk to
join in so many events our town has to offer.
8. The Freedom of the kids being able to go outside to play in the cul-de-sac
street. Whether it’s going to the tennis courts to play, riding bikes around the
hood, shooting hoops in the front yard, swinging the baseball bat, or kicking a few
soccer goals, even down to chalk drawing contests, or water balloon fights with the
neighbors, the kids could do it all.
9. The surprise of what flower or plant that would come up next from season to
season. Whether it’s the turning of the red maple leaves in the fall, to the daffodils in
early spring, the multiple oversized hydrangeas, the beautiful purple iris’s, the young
dogwood, the many hosta plants, the beautiful pink peonies with the sweet smelling lilacs
makes each season so special.
10. Most of all we love how unique our home is, as it embraces the character of the 1930’s and is
combined with all of today’s updated amenities.
