TOP 10 THINGS
We will miss about 1029 Galloping Hill Road
1. Family oriented– this is community of all ages. Older residents have visitors while
younger families have children playing in the yard or being walked in strollers
2. Neighborhood- We love it here everyone looks out for one another and we feel safe
here as a family.
3. Friendly neighborhood- There are pedestrians that stroll up and down Galloping Hill
Road and often stop to say hello or give a wave.
4. Dog friendly – Neighbors are responsible pet owners, cleaning up after walks and
always courteous.
5. Location- We love how close we are to shopping especially the bustling Black Rock
Tpke shopping center as well as downtown Fairfield on the post road.
6. Commuter area- Having the Merritt close by is such a convenient feature when getting
around. Its a quiet location but so centrally located.
7. Wildlife – Animal and bird sightings of all creatures native to New England
8. Charming community- Homes are well cared for, yards are tidy and well-manicured.
There is such a sense of community with children attending well-established
elementary and middle school just minutes away.
9. Family room- My den is my favorite room – it serves as a “family room.” It is an easy
place to gather, situated o the kitchen with easy access to nearby half-bathroom.
Our den is a place where laughter can be heard as I stand in the kitchen getting
dinner ready. Memories of toys scattered, train sets in motion, and baby dolls in small
strollers being pushed around in play. It is the center of our home, a place for all of us
to unwind and share conversations about our day.
10. Outdoor patio- I love sitting out on my patio late in the day as the sun sets and the
day winds to an end. The wildlife is beautiful, an array of birds easily found in nearby
wounds. It is a serene space, one that oers a respite on a busy weekend or a long day
at work.
