Q: WHAT MADE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS HOME?
A: As soon as we saw the way the house was situated on the hill with the rolling front lawn
and beautiful backyard we were sold! Warner Hill Road is an ideal spot. The homes are
well-spaced but the street also feels like a real neighborhood. It's the perfect location, a
country-like feel with easy access to downtown Fairfield and all it has to offer.
Q: PLEASE DESCRIBE THE RENOVATION PROCESS.
A: While the location of the home is ideal, the home itself had become tired. We knew it was a
gem in the rough so we renovated it top to bottom. This included raising the roof, building a
family, laundry, master bedroom addition, changing all windows and doors, siding, masonry
work, paint, appliances, fixtures, tiles, lighting, walk-in closets, cabinetry, and countertops.
Every aspect of the home that needed to be replaced or updated has been addressed.
Q: WHY ARE YOU MOVING?
A: After enjoying our hard work for the past year or so we have now decided it's time to move
on. The kids are grown and off so we really don't need this much space. It's time for a
smaller nest!
Q: WILL YOU MISS THE NEIGHBORS/NEIGHBORHOOD?
A: Yes! The neighbors are very friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. We
particularly love the way so many of them decorate and light their homes for the
holidays.
Q: TELL ME ABOUT THE GROUNDS.
A: The grounds are the perfect backdrop for this home. The deep front yard with the way
the house is situated gives it real curb appeal. And the backyard with its generous lawn
surrounded by woods is truly beautiful in every season. The 100 year old Japanese Maple
is a show stopper, especially in the fall or covered with freshly fallen snow.
Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR PROPERTY SO SPECIAL?
A: Because the home sits on almost two acres with a wooded buffer in the backyard, Mother Nature
provides much to take in. We particularly enjoy the birds. We've spotted owls, red tail hawks,
Orioles and even hummingbirds. Sitting on the back patios or master bedroom balcony to watch it
all has been a wonderful way to de-stress from day to day living.
